About
Scouting America (formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America) was founded in 1910, and it is charged by Congress to serve the nation's youth by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Scouting America aims to prepare young people for lives of impact and purpose. Troop 65 - Stockbridge was founded in 1990, and it serves the Stockbridge, Henry County, Georgia community by providing a youth-led program that helps young people be “Prepared. For Life.®”

Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physical strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.





Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. Troop 65 - Stockbridge participates in programs and activities that will help your youth try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethnical standards.
